OK, OK, the whole thing is a joke.

It all started on the way home from a concert. I can't even remember why, but I got the idea to perform Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Memories" on kazoo, with fart-noise accompaniment. Mostly, it was to express my dislike of the song, but we thought it would be funny, too.

At the time, I didn't even own a kazoo. I hadn't played one since I was a kid, when I spent more time poking at the membrane than making any noise (probably much to my parents' relief). It was the work of moments to find a kazoo, to this date the only kazoo that "Geoffrey Leventham" has ever used:

It cost me two dollars.

The next thing I needed was a recording studio. It should be pointed out that this is the first music I've ever recorded, and will probably be the last, too. Anyway, I got the best microphone I could get my hands on:

It, too, cost very little.

And so, Oozak was born. For someone with no talent, experience, or skills, I think I did alright.

Feel free to share this music however you like (music sharing services, disk, etc), as long as you credit me. It'd be great if you sent me an email too!

If you'd like to share, you can leave messages on the messageboard, or send me mail.

Also, this is the entrie recorded output of Oozak. The other songs on the albums were just made up, and never performed. Sorry! Maybe someday.

PS. Our family dog, Jaala, a beautiful black standard poodle, passed away on the day that Oozak was launched. We will all miss her terribly.
